Modules & final exam
Eight modules across four levels, each pairing an in-person or live-online theory intensive with a hands-on practical. Module 6 marks the start of the advanced practical intensive led personally by Liza Kimble, continuing through Level 4.
Foundation
Modules 1–2Level 1 introduces EFTR® itself — tensegrity, the nervous system, superficial fascia, and trauma-informed interaction — building awareness through the student's own body and their connection with the horse. Practicals are led by the regional teaching team.
MODULE 1
Foundations of fascia & connection
An introduction to EFTR®, exploring tensegrity, the nervous system, superficial fascia and the importance of gentle, trauma-informed interaction. Students begin developing awareness through both their own bodies and their observation and connection with the horse.

MODULE 2
Fascia, anatomy & the deep ventral line
Building on the foundations, students explore fascia in greater depth, including the Deep Ventral Line and interconnected relationships within the body. Practical learning develops the student's understanding of the pelvis, diaphragm and deeper fascial connections.

Development & connection
Modules 3–4Level 2 deepens the nervous system and trauma work alongside fascia as a sensory system, developing the student's ability to observe, feel, and understand whole-body relationships in themselves and the horse. Practicals are led by the regional teaching team.
MODULE 3
Nervous system, trauma & the body
Students explore the relationship between fascia, the autonomic nervous system, trauma, behaviour and the gut-brain connection. Human and equine practical work begins to bring these relationships together through observation, awareness and gentle fascial techniques.

MODULE 4
Fascia as a sensory system
This module explores fascia's role in sensation, pain, movement and body awareness. Students continue developing their ability to observe, feel and understand whole-body relationships in both themselves and the horse.

Application & growth
Modules 5–6Level 3 shifts the emphasis from applying technique toward presence, sensitivity and regulation, and marks the start of the advanced practical intensive led personally by Liza Kimble, beginning with scar integration in Module 6.
MODULE 5
Connection, regulation & the whole body
Students explore deeper aspects of connection, regulation, lymphatic relationships and whole-body awareness. The emphasis begins shifting from simply applying techniques towards developing presence, sensitivity and an understanding of when less can be more.

MODULE 6
Scar integration
Module 6 marks the beginning of the advanced practical intensive personally with Liza Kimble. Students explore the significance of scar tissue and its wider fascial relationships through both human and equine practical work.
